Hey all!
Here are the build plans & save state for the Tangband/Hivi 3-way speakers I built a while back. Sorry it’s taken me so long to get these out! So, I had to check on the cutout diameter for the Tangband W62313, and I noticed they’re almost $500 US each now!!! (thanks tariffs) Well, if you’re building these, that means you have an AC650. So, you should be able to easily find a cheaper 6” coaxial if need be. This enclosure will work with just about any coaxial in that size range, just be sure to adjust the cutout diameter! Between us, the secret sauce with this build really is the Hivi L6-4R woofer. It is a solid foundation to match with any decent coaxial.
All the build details and guide are found in the PDF in the google drive. I’ve included frequency response charts for those without a measurement mic, so if you’d like to EQ, you’ll know where you’re starting from. I’ve reset my amp so many times now, that I didn’t have my original save state from the video, so this crossover setup is fairly barebones. I didn’t set any delays between drivers, but we’ve still got good phase agreement over the crossover points. So, with that said, feel free to share any updated/improved EQs.
