Hi, my names Robert or Bobbyji here in India (I’m American btw).
I’d knew I’d eventually be building an OB Speaker so when I learned of Stas’ DSP I bought that first (and because it was on Sale!), and also because I didn’t want to mess with Crossovers or one of the Mini DSP variants (Lot’s of difficulties getting products in India; HEAVY Tariffs, etc.). After ordering the AC650 I began to study up on OB Speakers; there are so many cool designs that this was the tough part, choosing one! I had wanted to finish it in Teak, and may eventually, but the wood market is Huge here in Delhi and I don’t speak the language, which makes things difficult. So I just made it modular, meaning that I can easily remove the Face/Baffle and Sides, and replace it with Furniture Grade wood in the future. I also made some Grills for the front as well as some pyramid like Grills to cover the Heils on top. Now all I need is to be able to get my Acoustas App working to hear what they sound like!
